Husband and Father
Married to Nancy Farris Gillard for the better part of 28+ years, we also have three children, from the left, Austin, Claire and Barbara. This picture was taken in 2009 on the island of Malta where Barbara was studying economics. This is the same island (technically an archipelago in the central Mediterranean Sea) where the Apostle Paul was ship wrecked in Acts 28.

Fan of the Minnesota Vikings
I cut my proverbial teeth during the 1969 season when Joe Kapp led the team to their first Super Bowl appearance...back before the games were designated with Roman numerals!
It was the season dominated by the "Purple People Eaters," that abruptly ended in the fourth Super Bowl where the Vikings lost to the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 23-7. I remain an optimisic, unapologetic devotee. And no one knows why. |

Beekeeper
Presently keeping around 200 hives in Southeast Missouri, specifically Cape Girardeau County and Scott County, striving to keep bees fairly "naturally" in grazing areas and "CRP" ground where no "GMO" crops are grown.
We also market "Varietal" honeys that reflect the special flowers in that area, or the crop my bees are pollinating.
